The students will be grouped to complete a project entitled: “Entrepreneur.” This week, they will complete Part 2: "Being a Boss." The students will be applying for a grant by completing different tasks to determine whether or not they’re capable of running a business. The tasks involved will require the students to apply the GPS taught during the year in a real world setting. This is a fictitious project, meaning the students will not be applying for a real grant or receiving any money or starting an actual business.
HW for 4-11-11: Research a company that went out of business and tell why that company went out of business.
HW for 4-12-11: Bring in a business article that deals with employees' salaries.
HW for 4-13-11: Research a company's profits and losses.
